We are a balanced church believing in an ancient message using a modern approach. We desire to minister to
real people dealing with real life in a relevant way. We are a growing church, in the same way that the New
Testament church was a growing church. But as we grow larger, we also grow smaller. Our LIFE Groups ministry
is designed to build a network of small groups within the context of the larger community. As you continue to make
yourself at home here, I would strongly encourage you to find a LIFE Group in your area where you can develop
authentic and lasting relationships with others who also attend CP.
In addition to LIFE Groups, CP has a wide variety of ministries for people of all ages and walks of life. Whether a
child, a student, a single or married adult, there is plenty of room for you and lots of ways for you to be involved.
In short, we are doing all we can to be the same kind of church described in the New Testament. Through age-
appropriate and practical teaching, powerful times of worship and praise, authentic relationships, and a heart for
those in need of the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, we want to make a positive and lasting impact on the
world around us.
If you are still just checking out this “church thing” and investigating the claims of Jesus Christ, thank you for
allowing us to help you along the way. Or if you are a committed Christ-follower who is looking for a place to
mature in your faith as you serve others, you are also welcome. My prayer is that, no matter where you are along
